I’m slightly freaking out about how quickly January passed us. What the hell?!

The end of the month calls for a new favourites video; but first, here’s a wee sneak peek of some of the things I’ve been enjoying!

I’m interested in all things to do with Everest, so I loved this. It’s about the 1996 Everest tragedy and it’s INTENSE. The book also intrigued me because Jon Krakauer wrote Into The Wild – another of my favourites!

My friend Emma bought me a scratch map – how cool is this?! You scratch off all the places you’ve been to and it’s great inspiration for deciding where to travel to next.

loved this film when I went to see it in the cinema (although the projector stopped working halfway through and when the movie finally came back on 20 minutes later, it was restarted half an hour before we left off). As usual, Leonardo doesn’t disappoint.

What are some of your favourite things from last month? Leave a comment!

To see the rest of my January favourites, make sure to watch the video below!

I think it’s important to keep a diary and to write in it regularly. It not only helps you remember what you’ve done throughout your life, but it helps you to see how you’ve changed and grown over the years.

In my new youtube video, I read some of the entries from my old high school journal. It was painful to read because of how strange and immature I was back then and you’ll probably die of second-hand embarrassment while watching.

Enjoy!

Happy new year!

This year, I’ve decided to start a new youtube series. Whenever I have an interesting week, I’ll film it and upload a vlog. The title ‘Weekly Vlog didn’t appeal to me, so I decided to name it something relating to my youtube username. Hence: Creep Week!

Creep Week #1 is out today and contains clips from Christmas, nights out over Christmas, Hogmanay and a spontaneous trip to Glencoe.

What did you do for Christmas and New Year’s Eve?

Every year, I follow the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards and wish that one day, I’d be able to win something like that. I’ve never had the guts to enter because I’d be up against people who I’ve followed and admired for years, and it’d be silly to even think I could be in the same league as them…

Until today.

WHY THE HELL NOT?!

Obviously, I won’t be entering any blogging categories because I’ve only had a blog for a short time, but I’ve been uploading videos onto youtube for nearly 6 years now and I feel like I should just go for it, so today I put myself forward for “Best Vlog”.

In no way do I feel like I have the “best vlogs” or a youtube channel that is better than anyone else’s that have been shortlisted/won in the past, but it’d be amazing to be shortlisted anyway!  I’d be so grateful if you could vote for me.

I constantly see youtubers who have a huge following and think to myself that if I ever had a following as big as them, I would do lots of worthy things, raise awareness and money for different charities or campaigns and bring attention to people in the world that need our help…but then I thought, why not start now with the following I already have? So, I’m currently writing a list of ideas of new things that I can bring to my channel.

If you feel like I deserve to win, please vote for me! All you have to do is fill out a short form with your email address, my youtube url (http://youtube.com/beautycreep), why you enjoy my channel and the category (best vlog). CLICK HERE TO VOTE

I’m constantly overwhelmed by the support you guys give me, so thank you. If I ever won, I’d need to film something OUTRAGEOUS!

2 youtubers I regularly watch have also entered the same category, Hannah Witton and Chyaz Samuel (Punk Chyaz), so give them a wee vote aswell!

Tweet me or send me a message if you vote for me so I can thank you!

Hi everyone! I was planning on jumping straight in to my first blog post without actually introducing myself. First mistake. This whole blogging thing is completely new to me! My name is Erin Doogan, I’m from Scotland and I’ve been on youtube for around 5 years, vlogging about various things such as trips around Scotland, chatty videos (tags, my catfish story, embarrassing moments), vlogs with friends and paranormal stories. Basically everything. I don’t really have a “niche” or a subject that I stick to, so this blog is probably going to be the same.

I’ll try to keep it simple and only write about the topics my videos are based on, but I can’t promise anything. I ramble in real life and I’m aware that rambling on a blog can be a “dont”, but I know for a fact that I’ll do it anyway.

Being on youtube is great, but blogging is a bit terrifying for me because it’s a whole new world, but I thought that it was about time I started a blog for my trips, reviews and other adventures. Plus, I have SO many pictures that I’d like to share.

I greatly encourage any feedback that you guys are willing to give, especially with regards to my blog design and layout, but any feedback at all is welcome! You can leave comments on here, or email me at beautycreep@hotmail.com 🙂

You can also contact me on my social media, all of which I’ll link at the end of this post.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog, and I hope that you’ll stay and be a part of this (really strange, but fun) “beautycreep” community!
