Introduction

Hi everyone! I was planning on jumping straight in to my first blog post without actually introducing myself. First mistake. This whole blogging thing is completely new to me! My name is Erin Doogan, I’m from Scotland and I’ve been on youtube for around 5 years, vlogging about various things such as trips around Scotland, chatty videos (tags, my catfish story, embarrassing moments), vlogs with friends and paranormal stories. Basically everything. I don’t really have a “niche” or a subject that I stick to, so this blog is probably going to be the same.

I’ll try to keep it simple and only write about the topics my videos are based on, but I can’t promise anything. I ramble in real life and I’m aware that rambling on a blog can be a “dont”, but I know for a fact that I’ll do it anyway.

Being on youtube is great, but blogging is a bit terrifying for me because it’s a whole new world, but I thought that it was about time I started a blog for my trips, reviews and other adventures. Plus, I have SO many pictures that I’d like to share.

I greatly encourage any feedback that you guys are willing to give, especially with regards to my blog design and layout, but any feedback at all is welcome! You can leave comments on here, or email me at beautycreep@hotmail.com 🙂

You can also contact me on my social media, all of which I’ll link at the end of this post.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog, and I hope that you’ll stay and be a part of this (really strange, but fun) “beautycreep” community!

    Hi Erin!
Just had a look at your blog on my mobile and I like the design and way of writing.
What really appreciate now and in the future is to get more information about your trips (like you did in your first post) like homepage, prices or exactly location or place so far you want to give that information out.

    Greetings, Michael

Anymore things for me to follow, and you can get me for being a cyber stalker, lol. I like what you have built. I’ll have to look it up on the computer though, I’m on my cell at the moment. What I’d like to read is more in depth information on what you vlog about. Also things that you don’t. You’re my link to the country I love. Alba Gu Bráth!

Haha! Thank you. I’ll definitely be putting more in depth information on this!

Hey, Erin. I’m the food obsessed Texan who normally comments on your YouTube videos but I wanted to say I like your blog. It’s easy to navigate and I especially like the tabs at the top for quick viewing. I love the sans serif font, well done haha

Hello again Erin, I dropped a comment at your YouTube site then came here, so as I checked out your blog pages, Aubrae left a comment. That’s exactly what I was going to say lol! So, I agree with her and I also love the pictures you used on the home page. They grab my attention(side note: I actually stopped your vlog in the exact spot so I could visualise ripping down the valley on my mountain bike lol! since then, I have added that to my bucket list.lol) I’m sure it will take shape the more content that you add, everything is just fine. You’re too hard on yourself. lol There is a saying in the marketing world all the mentors mention. “Ready, Fire, Aim!” And I think you are doing just that. Two thumbs up!
